Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry (b. 1980 and 1979 respectively) have been working together since 1999. The two French artists transit between Paris and New York. In 1999 Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry founded Hixsept, a project that blends tailoring and experimentation, visualized through textile. In 2007 Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry alongside others founded JSBJ - Je Suis une Bande de Jeunes - to support and publish contemporary photography. Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Egry regularly exhibit both their personal work along with their collaborations. In AA’s and JE’s work photography is used to explore intuitive solutions to small everyday problems of time and space.
